As summer approaches, our Colleges are sometimes looking for lifeguards for community recreation and other programs.  As you know we don’t have a lifeguard title per se, but individuals in various titles hold the job.

The City’s page on lifeguard recruiting (with video) is located at:  http://www.nycgovparks.org/opportunities/jobs/lifeguards.  This summer, the City will pay $13.57 an hour minimum, and physical requirements are on the site, if you would like to model your requirements after them.
